Reviewer Comments: I hunted bighorn sheep in the Sangre De Cristo mountains of Colorado, which is a demanding hunt. I hunted archery, so I had to get close and this was not easy as these sheep are very wary. The biggest problem I had was with other hunters and hikers interfering with my stalks. My guide was young and inexperienced, but he did a great job. We saw alot of 7/8 to full curl rams and if I had been hunting with a rifle, I would not have had any problem harvesting a sheep. This was the most physically demanding hunt I have ever been on.

Iowa Hunting Information
Iowa is one of the best Midwestern states for monster whitetail bucks. Non-residents must apply for a tag in their annual drawing. Archery tags are the most sought after and depending on what units you apply for generally take 2-4 years to draw.
New Mexico Hunting Information
New Mexico is one of the top destinations for trophy Elk and Antelope hunting. Draw odds can be tough depending on the unit but landowner tags are also available for those who don't draw. Mule Deer are plentiful but generally of average size. Only a couple of units and reservations consistently produce big muleys.
Arizona Hunting Information
Arizona has lots of trophy big game but is probably best known for its trophy elk and mule deer. This partially due to the limited number of tags available.
