Reviewer Comments: Kirk and his guides work harder than any outfit I have ever seen. They want everyone to have a great time and a wonderful hunting experience. The mule deer hunts are tough since they are before the rut - they had 15 bucks spotted before we arrived that were 170 to 200 B&C - we didn't get any of them. Our camp shot a 202, 175 and a 165 bucks. I cannot imagine what they could change to make this group any better. Give them a call, you won't be sorry.

Reviewer Comments: We booked our hunt with Kirk with very high expectations. We not only met those expectations but shattered them. The week we were in camp there were 10 bull elk hunters. 1 330 bull, 2 320 bulls, 1 310 bull, 3 290-300 bulls, 2 5x5 bulls were killed when we left. The last hunter had been hunting a big bull with a harem of about 40 cows and as many as 10 satellite bulls with him and hadn't shot when we left. Kirk makes sure you are involved as much as you want to be. He makes sure that everyone has a great time and he wants to make sure you have fun and laugh. After you kill out, you are more than welcome, almost encouraged to stay in camp and help glass for elk for other people. Everyone in camp wanted everyone else to succeed. Kirk has over 1 million acres under lease and ~300,000 acres are prime elk country. He has 70 bull elk permits but only takes about 30 - 35 bulls a year to maintain a high quality experience and keep high quality elk on his properties. We saw over 40 branch antlered bulls in our three days of hunting. This is a first class operation all the way around, I don't know how you could find a better organized and fun place to hunt.

Alberta Hunting Information
Alberta is a large, diverse province with rolling prairies, farmland, river bottoms, Boreal forests, and large expanses of the northern Rocky Mountains. Many species of big game, waterfowl, upland game and predators inhabit Alberta. Long known for monster whitetails, Alberta also is home to big mule deer, pronghorn antelope, elk, black bear, cougar, Canada moose, and bighorn sheep. In fact, 7 of the 10 largest bighorn sheep in Boone and Crockett record book are from Alberta. In addition to big game, Alberta offers some top notch bird hunting.
