Reviewer Comments: After a 3 day hunt at the JN Ranch, I will not be going back. The animals we saw were immature and many of them on the website were no longer available to hunt during our stay. We were not told this until we arrived at the Ranch. We asked several questions in advance and got different answers when we arrived. One of the hunters was after a particular animal, when we arrived they told us they only had 1 left on 1200 acres. This should have been stated before. We had to put down non-refundable money for lodge, food, drinks, and guide fees. There was 2 of us hunting and only 1 guide. We didn't harvest any animals so we didn't have to pay any trophy fees. I have been to places before with this same set up, but either got invited back for a hunt because we didn't kill or received some money back. Especially if there was 2 hunters and only 1 guide, who feel asleep in the stand numerous times. I was told that the guide was out looking for large animals that we wanted to hunt. When we arrived we found out that the guide does not live on the ranch and didn't know where the trophy animals were located. He also said I can hunt with you if you like, but we feel that you know what you are looking for. The last night of the hunt the owner made the comment, "We are sorry you didn't see what you were after, but we are still keeping your money." I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a trophy animal. However, the lodging is nice and the food is excellent. Our trip was very disappointing.

Arizona Hunting Information

Arizona has lots of trophy big game but is probably best known for its trophy elk and mule deer. This partially due to the limited number of tags available.

Alberta Hunting Information

Alberta is a large, diverse province with rolling prairies, farmland, river bottoms, Boreal forests, and large expanses of the northern Rocky Mountains. Many species of big game, waterfowl, upland game and predators inhabit Alberta. Long known for monster whitetails, Alberta also is home to big mule deer, pronghorn antelope, elk, black bear, cougar, Canada moose, and bighorn sheep. In fact, 7 of the 10 largest bighorn sheep in Boone and Crockett record book are from Alberta. In addition to big game, Alberta offers some top notch bird hunting. Serious waterfowlers know about the large flocks of ducks and geese that call Alberta home or migrate through.

Oregon Hunting Information

Oregon is not known to be a trophy big game producing state. That said they do have good quantities of animals such as Elk.
