Hog hunting...decent place
I have hunted hogs at Haun Ranch more than once. Overall, this is a good place and it provides for a fun weekend hunt. The owner, Terry Haun, is a nice guy, but a man of few words so don't expect him to coddle to your every whim. The more you get to know him the more he loosens up, though. The lodge is clean and respectable if not fancy. The ranch is about 1,200 acres. The land is nice and it's got a good variety of hunting opportunities. There are only two drawbacks: it seems to have a fair amount of hunting pressure, and you are sort of on your own (particularly when you hunt at night) which can lead to some confusion about where you are and where you should go. Neither one of these things would stop me from going back, though, because all in all it's a good place to hunt hogs.
