Windy Ridge Gobblers MO
Hunted gobblers in MO using Windy Ridge with Florida friends Dan and Rob. Dan and I doubled on two great gobblers the first morning of the hunt. The gobblers hit the ground at exactly the same time at a distance of 20 yards. The bird I killed was an old one with 1 3/4" spurs. Rob killed his mature bird the second day. Nick and his gang put you on the turkeys. They have numerous farms to hunt in both Iowa and MO. You can have one of his knowledgeable guides go with you, do the calling, etc, but with Dan and I's experience, we took the information the guides gave us and did it on our own. We stayed at their lodge in Iowa which was super nice and the food was great. Everyone was very personable. I would definitely recommend them for turkeys and deer, although I have not hunted deer with them. It was obvious from seeing their set ups for whitetail and talking with them that they know what they are doing with their deer operation.

Whitetails in Iowa
This was my second time with Nick and I couldn't be happier with all aspects of his operation. The first time I did not take a deer but had multiple opportunities. The second time I harvested a 170 plus 10 point. Couldn't be more pleased with all aspects of his operation.

Reviewer Comments: I booked a hunt with Nick for the second week of the November 2010 season. Nick picked me up at the airport for the two hour ride back to the lodge. He was very informative about the way he hunted and the type of the stands he used. He made sure every day to check the wind for the right direction so that you were in right stand for that given day. I never hunted the same stand twice while i was there. All the stands were in great shape with the trails marked to and from with bright eyes and flagging tape. Nick's guides were up to the task of getting you out and picked me up as well as checking on you. My trip was great except for the record rain fall that was happening in Iowa at the time. It rained four out of the seven days I was there. The deer sign was good just crappy weather with a lot standing corn. It was a great trip for waiting three years for a Iowa tag. I would go back if i ever get drawn again.

Kansas Hunting Information
Kansas is one of the top producing monster whitetail buck states in the country. It also has some excellent turkey hunting and a few big mule deer in the western part of the state. Kansas has an excellent reputation as a top notch destination for upland birds. It has excellent populations of pheasant and quail due to the vast expanse of suitable prairie and grassland type habitat.
Ontario Hunting Information
Ontario is often considered a sportsman's paradise. This large province contains huge sections of wilderness, filled with thousands of lakes that provide excellent habitat for Canada moose and black bear. Excellent fishing for walleye, northern pike, muskie, smallmouth bass and other species can often be combined with a hunt. From spike camps to 5-star lodges, there are lodges, guides and outfitters for every adventure and every taste.
Alberta Hunting Information
Alberta is a large, diverse province with rolling prairies, farmland, river bottoms, Boreal forests, and large expanses of the northern Rocky Mountains. Many species of big game, waterfowl, upland game and predators inhabit Alberta. Long known for monster whitetails, Alberta also is home to big mule deer, pronghorn antelope, elk, black bear, cougar, Canada moose, and bighorn sheep. In fact, 7 of the 10 largest bighorn sheep in Boone and Crockett record book are from Alberta. In addition to big game, Alberta offers some top notch bird hunting. Serious waterfowlers know about the large flocks of ducks and geese that call Alberta home or migrate through.
