Species Hunted: trophy whitetail

Game Quality: pretty good

Accommodation Quality: excellent

Camp Condition: excellent

Food Quality: excellent

Guide Experience: medium

Other Personal Experience: great cook

Overall Impression: overpriced

Recommend: No, not the first week

Reviewer Comments: Hunted Percival/Mckinnon for their first week of trophy whitetail. Very impressed with the camp, the most luxurious I have stayed at. Gained five pounds, the food was great. The hunting was slow, saw a couple of 140 class bucks and several smaller but action was slow. Also the area we where at had quite a bit of ATV,Jeep, truck and local hunter activity. Stands where set up on roads and cut lines and we only had seven stands for three hunters. Bottom line, a decent hunt but I expected more the money I spent.

Species Hunted: Whitetails

Game Quality: World Class

Accommodation Quality: A+

Camp Condition: Top of the line

Food Quality: A+

Guide Experience: The best

Other Personal Experience: The Same

Overall Impression: Best I've Been On

Recommend: In a heart beat

Reviewer Comments: I took a 213" non typ. with Doug and Dale. They also have taken a 231" non typ. Both bucks have been featured in BIG BUCK MAG. My buck was also in North American Whitetail mag. These guys do thier homework. All thier business is repeat clients. They don't need me to write anything about them. You will probably need 2 years Advance booking. I know friends who have waited just to get a spot and will never look for another outfitter in Canada. They average about 3 to 5 Boonies a year.I truely believe their area may hold a world record.

Alberta Hunting Information

Alberta is a large, diverse province with rolling prairies, farmland, river bottoms, Boreal forests, and large expanses of the northern Rocky Mountains. Many species of big game, waterfowl, upland game and predators inhabit Alberta. Long known for monster whitetails, Alberta also is home to big mule deer, pronghorn antelope, elk, black bear, cougar, Canada moose, and bighorn sheep. In fact, 7 of the 10 largest bighorn sheep in Boone and Crockett record book are from Alberta. In addition to big game, Alberta offers some top notch bird hunting. Serious waterfowlers know about the large flocks of ducks and geese that call Alberta home or migrate through.
