MSO Moose hunt

This was the worst overall hunting experience I could imagine. Chris Franke provided us with a 68 year old woman guide who had extremely limited knowledge of hunting the moose and black bear we were after. We never left camp with in an hour of daylight, the guides were to busy fixing up the horses for the other gentelmen in camp, costing us the best 7 hours of hunting time throughout the week. We hunted in four noisy metal chairs 50 yards from the truck on 6 of the seven days of the hunt. The guides assistant on numerous occasions called moose from the running car parked beside the road, with the radio playing might I add. We never started up the atv's that were supposed to be used to get me and my father in the back country. We were never provided the wolf tags they say are provided with every hunt according to their flyer. The one day we actually left the truck, we did have a harvest, the guide did not help at all as she was miles away and the guides assistant had not much more than a general understanding of how to bone out a moose. I had to cape my own trophy back at camp. The guides refused to let my father shoot a moose that had crossed the road because we already had one down, though we would not be retrieving it untill the next day. Chris Franke refused to let my father retrieve the moose I had harvested forcing him to stay in camp alone in camp with no communication. For 12000 dollars having my father at the kill site was the main point all-togeather. A hunt with Mountain Spirit Outfitters is nothing more than an overpriced camping trip with a side of road hunting, I would never recommend booking a hunt with them.
