Never Go to Montana
Worst Outfitters that I have seen. Horses that kick each other and the riders riding them. Tents that have holes in the roof. Wood stoves that leak smoke in your tents. Burnt food. Cheap food. Inexperienced guides. One got lost with a hunter ( thank goodness for radios). Our hole group only saw 6 elk the whole trip. There were 4 of us that never saw an elk. Lots of wolves. Gudies never scouted area.

Reviewer Comments: This is a true wilderness pack-in hunt. The country is very rugged (Scapegoat Wilderness). You really should be in good physical shape for this hunt. I was there for the first week of the second rifle season. The weather was unseasonably warm and I believe effected game movement but we still seen some deer & elk most days, including a trophy mule deer and a few nice bulls. I was fortunate enough to take a beautiful 6x6 bull elk.

Manitoba Hunting Information
Manitoba is known as a top destination for avid waterfowl hunters. Huge flocks of ducks and geese can be found from the Arctic coast of Hudson Bay to the prairie potholes on the southern border of this Canadian province. There is no legal requirement for non-resident waterfowl hunters to use a guide, but many are available and a high percentage of non-Canadian hunters utilize them. In addition black bear, Canada moose and whitetails are hunted throughout the province.
Kansas Hunting Information
Kansas is one of the top producing monster whitetail buck states in the country. It also has some excellent turkey hunting and a few big mule deer in the western part of the state. Kansas has an excellent reputation as a top notch destination for upland birds. It has excellent populations of pheasant and quail due to the vast expanse of suitable prairie and grassland type habitat.
New Mexico Hunting Information
New Mexico is one of the top destinations for trophy Elk and Antelope hunting. Draw odds can be tough depending on the unit but landowner tags are also available for those who don't draw. Mule Deer are plentiful but generally of average size. Only a couple of units and reservations consistently produce big muleys.
