I have hunted with Darrell Smith for three years now, his hunts are first class as well as the accomadations. I have had many opportunities to harvest trophy deer, I will definatly be going back whenever I get the chance.

Giant Illinois bucks

This was an awesome hunt. Guides were very knowledgeable. Food was very good. There are some absolute giant deer in this area. If you want an outfitter that is honest, give Darrell a try. I was able to take my largest buck ever here. A 168" 14 pointer. It was a single lung hit that we tracked for almost 2 miles. Darrell and his guides never gave up and rewarded me with the experience of a lifetime.

Illinois Whitetails LLC. Hunt

Darrell and his wife Angel run a great camp. This was my second trip with them and I already booked for the 2013 season. How can you complain about a 9500 sq ft lodge with all the comforts of home and then some? Your own private room, full T.V. and Recreation room, plenty of showers, and the food is always great. But that is not the reason to go hunting with them, IT'S BIG BUCKS! I myself saw my first 200" Booner in the wild with several deer that would have made book. I let 2 shooters walk as I was holding out for a 150" or better.Darrell and his guides work hard to put you in the right spot each day as we go over areiel photos every evening to get in the best spots. I will always hunt with Darrell in the future as I have found what I consider the best place in IL. to hunt.
