Deceived and Taken Advantage Of
We drew our tags and reached out to Dirk on a referral. We told him we wanted to hunt Mule Deer and one of us wanted to hunt whitetail. He told us he had private leases and would accommodate two mule deer hunters and a whitetail hunter. We arrived to find we were not staying in the accommodations we were told, we had to hunt on public land, no scouting was done, no whitetail hunt had been arranged, and Dirk didn’t even have a guide the first day. He said “all those options fell thru”. We hunted two days On public land and it was miserable. We asked for our money back and the first words out of Dirk’s mouth were “prove that I told you private land”. It was a deceitful hunt and I will file a complaint with Wyoming Board of Outfitters. It was an all out disappointment and I feel like I have been robbed. We have since met other outfitters who are less money and have private land. Beware of this outfitter.
Outfitter Response: Melvin Armstrong who submitted this review was never in the conversation of the hunt booking, only what his friend, Christian Wasielewski told him which unfortunately for Melvin, his so called friend lied to him big time. Christian is a liar, thief and total crook. He never even finished paying for his hunt which we are having to handle with our lawyers now to receive the final balance. We had been nice enough to allow payments for the hunt, thinking these were good people but we were proved wrong. They have still owed almost $6,000 on this hunt that now my family will have to go without. So if they are wanting to hunt with you, make sure they pay in full before the hunt even begins. Christian called several months after they had drawn the tags, we did not help them put in for tags or anything. He said they had drawn these really great tags for a great unit which was severely untrue. They drew a very small unit in Wyoming that instead of putting in for a region tag, they put in for a specific unit and that limited their hunting availability. We told Christian this from the beginning. We didn't even want to hunt these guys but the persistent phone calls asking us to, we laid it all out to Christian. This was a public land hunt in a small unit, we didn't know what the lodging would be yet as we were trying to find something close to where they would be hunting so there was definitely no deception there as we didn't even know where we'd be staying when they booked the hunt with us. This hunt was for mule deer, we even have this on our invoice. Christian stated that one of the clients would like a whitetail if we happened across one but we told him that with the unit as small as it is, we weren't sure that it would be possible but if we saw one he was welcome to kill it. We never, ever stated we were hunting on private leases as this little chunk of a unit they were hunting doesn't even have much private land to it. It's mainly a public land access sort of unit and unfortunately, they were hunting at the same time as everyone else that drew the region tag or had a general tag or even an elk tag. This was all told Christian at the start of the whole booking. Unfortunately, he is a liar and blew a bunch of smoke up his friend's for who knows what reasons. When asked for the final balance of their hunt after 2 days of them hunting, Christian threw a big childish fit. He wasn't planning to pay from the beginning, this was all apart of his plan. I'm sure there are other Outfitters who would say the same for them as I'm sure we are not the first. The worst part was they were rude to my wife and two children, including a 1 year old child. It says a lot about a person who can be mean to women and children. Christian is a businessman, it's probably unsettling to know how many bad business transactions he's made and how many people he overcharged or maybe just didn't pay like us. You want to talk about a bad human, that would be these guys. If they are wanting to do business with you, please be sure you look the other direction, no matter how much of a "bind" they say they are in. You will regret ever answering that phone call! As for reporting us to the Board of Outfitters, that's fine because we have all the documentation that we need to show everything he said is a lie. He just likes to try to threaten people, apparently he can get away with that where he's from but Wyoming is a little different. If anyone would like to see the documentation of everything, I'm more than happy to send it to them.

This was an either speices hunt for deer. Saw multiple bucks each day. Was looking for a nice mulie, but a good whitetail gave me the shot first. My best to date. A 142", 10 point. Guide was co-owner Justin Klient. Great guide, very good at what he does. This was a Kansas hunt.

Saskatchewan Hunting Information
Saskatchewan is home to giant whitetails and skies filled with waterfowl. Saskatchewan is located in the northern part of the central flyway and harbors huge numbers of migrating ducks and geese. Illinois Hunting Information
Illinois is widely known as a top trophy whitetail destination. Illinois also has some great waterfowl hunting, especially in southern portions of the state.
