Reviewer Comments: Richard has been in the business for 14 years and knows his stuff!! I've hunted with a lot of "outfitters" in Texas, but richard is the best by far. He knows the game because he is still hands on everyday. He has over 30 places that are all full of highest quality game. He had taken over 30 top 10 SCI trophies while I was there, and has taken more since. His prices are so affordable and the quality is excellent. With Richard, you shoot your trophy, take your pictures, and go back to hunting. He does all the meat processing, caping, and taxidermy if you want. Can tell you there is NO place like Richard's and no better guide on the planet!!

Reviewer Comments: I have hunted with Richard on several occasions taking 2 or 3 animals each time. He and his staff always make sure that you get the best of everything. Several times I have been ready to take an animal and Richard will ask me to wait for a bigger one he has seen. Richard is the only outfitter I know that spends every day finding animals.I hunted with the 777 ranch and found it to be a money machine.Richard works hard for you and saves you money on the animals and the quality is by far better. Richard hunts about 30 different ranches,so your not having to "shoot off of one shelf" If he knows where there is a better one, your off to get it. I started hunting with Richard so that I could extend my season to year round.Richard hunts every day he has a hunter and scouts the rest of the time

Alberta Hunting Information

Alberta is a large, diverse province with rolling prairies, farmland, river bottoms, Boreal forests, and large expanses of the northern Rocky Mountains. Many species of big game, waterfowl, upland game and predators inhabit Alberta. Long known for monster whitetails, Alberta also is home to big mule deer, pronghorn antelope, elk, black bear, cougar, Canada moose, and bighorn sheep. In fact, 7 of the 10 largest bighorn sheep in Boone and Crockett record book are from Alberta. In addition to big game, Alberta offers some top notch bird hunting. Serious waterfowlers know about the large flocks of ducks and geese that call Alberta home or migrate through.
