These guys run a quality operation. The interaction between the staff and the hunters was great. They worked very hard to see that you had a memorable trip. 7 people in camp, and all killed good animals - 15 1/4" being the best. No doubt about it, the best camp cook I've ever had in all my adventures. Would highly recommend these guys.

My son and I had a great time and I've already booked again for mule deer ( waiting list! ). You want to keep this outfitt a secret, but they deserve a good word. Greg and his staff are great. Reviewer Comments: My father and I were at the Catto Gage Ranch in West Texas, where the ranch manager Tex Speck conducted a first class operation. We felt welcome from the minute we got there till the minute we left. The antelope hunt is not a difficult hunt, though the guides still make it an enjoyable experience. Everybody in camp took an antelope. We also had the opportunity to see many mule deer and elk. I would recommend this hunt to anybody not only for the high success rate of the hunt, but the overall experience you will have in camp.

Reviewer Comments: Great, honest outfitter. I went on the classic 8 point hunt. I shot a heavy 131 inch buck on day three but missed a better deer earlier in week (140's). One trophy hunter in camp killed 167 inch and 3 other 8 point hunters killed 128-135 inch deer. Great food, guides, and atmosphere.

Reviewer Comments: I booked a 4-day hunt for a mature 8 point. I had a great hunt. Saw lots of deer 120-135 class. Harvested a chocolate horned 127in buck on first morning. Also took cull deer (7 pt), does, and missed a turkey. Great hunt, great people, and amazing food. You can't go wrong with this outfit. I was told the lack of rainfall made this a poor year for antler growth, I can't wait to see a good year!

Reviewer Comments: I have been fortunate enough to hunt with Greg several times for many species and he always has come up on top. This hunt for free range Nilgai was way above my expectations. My personal guide was the head ranch guide who has been guiding over 25 years and knows nilgai like the back of his hand. He kept warning me of the importance of shot placement and use of large caliber rifle. He proved to be right when my 300 grain bullet through the front shoulders still left the nilgai to run 150 yards through brush. Several African safaris later and experience with big game animals I have never seen an animal take this type of abuse and still go. I plan to squeeze another nilgai hunt in for my son next winter.

Reviewer Comments: Hunted with greg 3 times over years Great outfitt personal attn given good stafff and accomadations . west texas hunts were very gd average deer were 110 to mid to high 120s If you will wait on big one definitely get it 130 plus are there shot 133 class nad under seen bigger and been there when 150 class animal was taken . If you will wait anything is posssible 8 points everywhere, hold off 10s 12 s even bigger will come your way ! Nice people great atmosphere

Oregon Hunting Information
Oregon is not known to be a trophy big game producing state. That said they do have good quantities of animals such as Elk.
New Mexico Hunting Information
New Mexico is one of the top destinations for trophy Elk and Antelope hunting. Draw odds can be tough depending on the unit but landowner tags are also available for those who don't draw. Mule Deer are plentiful but generally of average size. Only a couple of units and reservations consistently produce big muleys.
Iowa Hunting Information
Iowa is one of the best Midwestern states for monster whitetail bucks. Non-residents must apply for a tag in their annual drawing. Archery tags are the most sought after and depending on what units you apply for generally take 2-4 years to draw.
