No bear

there were 5 hunters in camp with me not one bear was seen during the 5 days of hunting. when we brought this up to the owner he said that's how it is. I have been hunting long enough not to think any hunt is guarantied but with a outfitter someone should at least see an target animal. in my opinion they have over hunted their sets too much and the bear have moved out of the area.

This outfitter is a joke!

I hunted 4 days of a scheduled 5 day black bear hunt with this outfitter out of Challis, Id. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this guy. There were 7 hunters in camp all hunting either bear, elk or dear. In the 4 days I was there, only 2 shots were taken and no tags filled. I understand that an outfitter can't control the game, but his camp was terrible. The food was the worst I've ever seen with a guided hunt. His equipment was substandard. All of the hunters in camp had the same opinion of this guy. They were very experienced elk hunters and all were extremly disappointed in the number and quality of the game as well as the quality of the camp. One hunter left after only 2 days of a 7 day hunt, he was that disgusted. Do yourself a favor, save your money, time and effort and go somewhere else. I gave him 1 star because the form would not let me leave NONE.
