Dall Sheep

This was my second hunt with Chris Widrig. All aspecs of the hunt were excellent from the time of booking to the time of departure from camp. 1st class outfitter for all Yukon trophies.

Reviewer Comments: Chrtis Widrig guided me personally and it was a great experience. Chris is the "real deal"as the saying goes.He has over 30 years experience and a bush pilot and guide in the Canadian wilderness. He has survived a grizzly bear attack and still has no reservations about guiding in bear country. I took a 37-1/4 broomed dallram and a very nice mountain caribou on this hunt.It is true wilderness country, located 137miles fromthe nearest road. First rate people all the way.Chris'wife, Joanne, is a great cook!

Reviewer Comments: This was my 2nd hunt with Chris If you are looking for a classic wilderness pack train hunt in some of the most awsome country in the world and don't mind a little horse back riding you can't go wrong with Chris. I took a 13 year old broomed ram on the 8th day of our hunt saw good rams every day and lots of big caribou also. If I choose to I could have taken Griz.My guide Jamis and wrangler cook, Andrew:aka Jack Pine Savage were 1st class.

Reviewer Comments: We hunted with Chris in 2003. That year he was 15 for 16 on moose with 10 scoring above 200" B&C. I shot a 61 1/2" moose that scored 224", my brother shot a 60 1/2" moose. We saw a lot of game, the country was absolutely beautiful.

Reviewer Comments: Awesome country. Very remote. Shot a 58" bull early in the hunt. Hunters were 5 for 5. Mine was smallest shot. Horseback hunt. Good horses. Seeing the area is worth the hunt price alone. Won't be disapointed.
