Montana Bucks

Lots of game, virtually no hunting pressure! Definately a great place to hunt whitetail!

Reviewer Comments: This was my second hunt with Paul. The first was good and I wanted to bring friends back with me. Our impression: Paul is streched to thin and over comments. WHEN pressed he will work with you but you lose days of hunting doing it. I had other friends that were told they would have a ranch and no one else could\would hunt it. When they got there the guide told him a writer and his son had hunted it hard the week before. I would never suggest anyone hunt with Paul again. Fred Gill

Reviewer Comments: Private Ranch hunts during the rut. The guide and I saw 6 to 8 bucks everyday that were 23-25inch, most were very nice bucks. I was holding out for 26 or better and we saw three in that range in 4 days. I missed the shot I had, my fault not the guides. The outfitter offers Rut hunts so seeing the animals most of the day was common. Fun hunt and I am going back to give it another shot.

Utah Hunting Information

Utah has recently been outstanding for trophy elk, but the best tags take many years to draw. Utah does have conservation tags available for purchase that allow hunters to bypass the drawing. Given the high demand for these premium tags prices can be high. In the past Utah has been a top trophy mule deer state but recently only a handful of units consistently produce B&C caliber deer.

New Mexico Hunting Information

New Mexico is one of the top destinations for trophy Elk and Antelope hunting. Draw odds can be tough depending on the unit but landowner tags are also available for those who don't draw. Mule Deer are plentiful but generally of average size. Only a couple of units and reservations consistently produce big muleys.

Illinois Hunting Information

Illinois is widely known as a top trophy whitetail destination. Illinois also has some great waterfowl hunting, especially in southern portions of the state.
