SLAM DUNK !!

I had a dream about one day killing the Grand Slam, well 23 years of waiting I called Crews and Christy about his hunt, and I booked the hunt. So a buddy and I headed to his ranch, as we arrived we sat on the porch and watched wild Hogs in the back yard as Christy prepared one of her amazing meals. My first morning was great with several gobblers around us as we call two in, just out of range, it was a great morning, that afternoon we got settled in for the afternoon hunt, as the beautiful sound of two longbeards making there swamp music walked into range as I pulled the trigger on my lifelong dream! I will never forget that hunt.I have been on alot of hunts and this one was one of the best I have ever been a part of, If you are a (True) Turkey Hunter you will not care what kind of water you take a shower with or what the animals are feeding on! My buddy and I both took 4 year old birds and it was a trip we will never forget,(our hunt was also the last hunt of the year) So if you are looking to fill your Slam, Make the right choice and Book with Crews and Christy its a SLAM DUNK!!

Horrible Hunt

This was a terrible hunt. Mr. Crews Mills will place you in a blind between a roost and one of his 17 corn feeders, and you are expected to shoot the bird if he comes by. Crews was told I didn't want to shoot a bird over corn. Well you are placed at a legal distance from the corn, but this is not a turkey hunt. The accomodations are nice if you don't mind bathing in sulfer water. The food was lousy. Breakfast is your choice of Little Debbie snack cake. Very few birds. I don't mind getting beat by the turkeys but don't like getting beat by a lousy "outfitter".

Bad Deal

Bad deal all around. The "outfitter" puts you in a blind that he hopes is between the turkey roost and one of his 17 corn feeders. We were a legal distance from the feeder, but this is not turkey hunting, and you will not be allowed to really hunt. Very few birds. Bad food. Nice accomodations. I don't mind being beat by the turkeys, but I despise being beat by a sorry outfit.

Utah Hunting Information

Utah has recently been outstanding for trophy elk, but the best tags take many years to draw. Utah does have conservation tags available for purchase that allow hunters to bypass the drawing. Given the high demand for these premium tags prices can be high. In the past Utah has been a top trophy mule deer state but recently only a handful of units consistently produce B&C caliber deer.

Alberta Hunting Information

Alberta is a large, diverse province with rolling prairies, farmland, river bottoms, Boreal forests, and large expanses of the northern Rocky Mountains. Many species of big game, waterfowl, upland game and predators inhabit Alberta. Long known for monster whitetails, Alberta also is home to big mule deer, pronghorn antelope, elk, black bear, cougar, Canada moose, and bighorn sheep. In fact, 7 of the 10 largest bighorn sheep in Boone and Crockett record book are from Alberta. In addition to big game, Alberta offers some top notch bird hunting. Serious waterfowlers know about the large flocks of ducks and geese that call Alberta home or migrate through.
