Over Hunted
BUYER BEWARE!!!! This is just my experience. Annie and Otto are very nice people and do a great job when you get to Deer Lake. From that point the hunt really goes down hill. There is a extreme amount of local hunting pressure. There is very little game we only had 6 moose in 6 days and only 2 bulls. The camp was very disappointing. The toilet was leaking on the floor and according to the guides had the problem for years. The hot water heater ended up shooting out flames and had to be turned off.(SO to take a shower you had to go use cooks shower) We went thru 3 generators while we were there. I think they are trying to run too many people thru they camps and have ran the moose off into the other area's. They have some friends that work the booth with them at the Eastern Sheep show that get the better areas to hunt if they are in camps when you are. They actually pushed other hunters into a 2 on 1 situation to accommodate them . This again is just my experience. If was going to look at New Found land for Moose i would do my research and probably go to a fly in camp. If you would like anymore details i'm glad to talk to anyone. Great moose hunt
Hunted with Roberts outfitting at there Rex Lake camp each morning started with a short boat ride followed by a slow walk stop and call , then walk and try again. Only took till the second morning then he came a 16pt - 44" bull. One shot then called the other guide to help my guide carry out the quarters ,I only carried the rack . Great guides !! I will be back as soon as I finish all that prime moose meat . We had 5 hunters with 5 shots at bulls, 8pt,16pt,18pt,21pt , 1hit but could not find .also 1nice black bear . Great outfitter with free airport pick up & drop off My best trip to Newfoundland ever. I will be back

I highly recommend this outfitter. We seen quite a few bull moose. Our accomodations were great and the cook was even better. All of the guides were very friendly, knowledgable and helpful. As for our guide he was patient and professional. Was an awesome caller. We had bulls within 30 yards. What an experience. My daughter and I had the time of our life. She got a beautiful bull. Will be back as soon as possible. Kathy David

Iowa Hunting Information
Iowa is one of the best Midwestern states for monster whitetail bucks. Non-residents must apply for a tag in their annual drawing. Archery tags are the most sought after and depending on what units you apply for generally take 2-4 years to draw.
New Mexico Hunting Information
New Mexico is one of the top destinations for trophy Elk and Antelope hunting. Draw odds can be tough depending on the unit but landowner tags are also available for those who don't draw. Mule Deer are plentiful but generally of average size. Only a couple of units and reservations consistently produce big muleys.
