Black bear

Me and 5 other guys went up to The Pas, Manitoba to River Country Outfitters. It was a good time. You meet the guide and take boats down river to your camp. Your camp is on the edge of the river. Everyone seen bears and in fact everyone got a bear. We seen cinniman and a blonde bear. We were 6 for6 on bears but 4 of the 6 weren't over 150 lbs. My bear and another guys were over 300 lbs. We didn't have a scale but the guides estimated weight. Most stands seem to be within 20yds of bait. Mine was 11-15yds. Its perfect for bringing your bow. My skull I just did an estimated measurement and its over 19". We are from WI and we had a lot of fun. If you like roughing it a little this is a fun hunt and the walleye is delicious.

Manitoba is known as a top destination for avid waterfowl hunters. Huge flocks of ducks and geese can be found from the Arctic coast of Hudson Bay to the prairie potholes on the southern border of this Canadian province. There is no legal requirement for non-resident waterfowl hunters to use a guide, but many are available and a high percentage of non-Canadian hunters utilize them.
