Reviewer Comments: This is an affordable hard core working man's hunt. The outfitter supplies hunters with a piece property, and general knowledge of what the deer are doing and the quality of the bucks on the property. You hang your own treestands and set your own agenda. I know this may sound a little primitive for the TEXAS TOWER hunter or the hunter that doesn't know how to hunt. But the satisfaction of the kill is much greater. You can expect to see Pope & Young animals on a daily basis, and an occassional Booner. We have bowhunted with Pioneer Outfitter for the last four years with a 70% success rate, including 10 bucks nearing or surpassing the 150" mark. This outfitter knows his land and his deer.

Reviewer Comments: This outfitter has only been in business for a couple of years, but he will be honest with you. They will set you up on one of his leased properties, give you an drawing of the land you are hunting, give you some advice on how to hunt that particular land and the rest is up to you. They told me to set up on the edge of a draw, (use your own stands)watch the deer movement, then fine tune your setup. On the third evening of the hunt I harvested a 134" 8pt. If you put your time in on stand (stay in stand all day), use your first couple of days as scout time (do NOT go out looking for sign, you will push the big bucks out of your area), you too could be successfull with this outfitter.

The Yukon Territory is a legendary hunting destination. Hunters from all over the world travel to the Yukon for wilderness adventure hunting at its finest. This rugged, remote and beautiful province is nearly untouched by man. It is similar in size to the state of California but with a population of only about 30,000 residents. Manitoba is known as a top destination for avid waterfowl hunters. Huge flocks of ducks and geese can be found from the Arctic coast of Hudson Bay to the prairie potholes on the southern border of this Canadian province. There is no legal requirement for non-resident waterfowl hunters to use a guide, but many are available and a high percentage of non-Canadian hunters utilize them. In addition black bear, Canada moose and whitetails are hunted throughout the province.
