What a great memory
I brought my 6 year old son out to Lone Oak Outfitters for the late youth hunt to try and get him his first deer. We made it to the blind for the afternoon hunt by 2:00 and id didn't take long for the deer to start pouring into the corn field. He dropped a big doe at 100 yards with one shot. what a great experience for my son's first deer hunt. We will be back this spring for the 2012 turkey season and next fall for the fall 2012 deer season.

Great experience!!!
This was my first experience with any type of outfitter and i had no idea what to expect. I live south of st louis and the deer down here are small and highly pressured. I was looking for a place where i could hunt deer in their natural state and get a chance to take a nice buck. I experienced both of those senarios hunting with lone oak outfitters. I sat on stand for 12 hours the first day and saw a total of 17 deer. The deer were moving all day and it was a great time. I saw a total of 7 bucks 3 of them being deer i probably should have shot. 130" to 145" deer. I saw a giant 6 point i would have loved to shoot but couldn't with the 4 point antler restriction in missouri. I held out for a deer of a life time and sunday morning i got my chance. I got a shot at the biggest buck i had ever seen but somehow didn't connect. The shot was about 80 yards through some very thick brush and i must have hit something. Oh well, that's hunting i guess. I would totally recommend this outfitter. I will be back next year for sure. Mike

hunting at lone oak
This was my first guided hunt and didnt know what to realy expect. There was 5 hunters in our group and we all thought we had packed way more than enough for 4 days. Well on the first day my bow broke and i couldnt get parts, i was so dissapointed. To my suprise Hank, Phil, and Nate all offered me there equipment. And on the third day i was able to harvest a nice whitetail with Hanks bow at about 15 yards. All 5 hunters saw many deer and all of us saw 130"+ deer and 2 of us had shots and were able to harvest the deer.

This was my second trip to lone oak. This trip was a last second unplanded trip, it was so cold and snowing the entire time. My friend Jon and I were determined to stick it out and we sat and sat. We both saw a lot of deer but no big bucks. Then on sunday i was walking over to Jons stand and up jumped a nice 10 point buck and I was able to make a clean shot on it at about 45 yards. It scored 127.5 and had a 27 inch neck but this deer was a real fighter and had both brow tines broken and the tip of another or it would have went close to 140.You can see the deer and I on their website. I cant say enough about Hank, Phil and Nate. Thanks again guys ill be back again.

Utah Hunting Information
Utah has recently been outstanding for trophy elk, but the best tags take many years to draw. Utah does have conservation tags available for purchase that allow hunters to bypass the drawing. Given the high demand for these premium tags prices can be high. In the past Utah has been a top trophy mule deer state but recently only a handful of units consistently produce B&C caliber deer.
Manitoba Hunting Information
Manitoba is known as a top destination for avid waterfowl hunters. Huge flocks of ducks and geese can be found from the Arctic coast of Hudson Bay to the prairie potholes on the southern border of this Canadian province. There is no legal requirement for non-resident waterfowl hunters to use a guide, but many are available and a high percentage of non-Canadian hunters utilize them. In addition black bear, Canada moose and whitetails are hunted throughout the province.
New Mexico Hunting Information
New Mexico is one of the top destinations for trophy Elk and Antelope hunting. Draw odds can be tough depending on the unit but landowner tags are also available for those who don't draw. Mule Deer are plentiful but generally of average size. Only a couple of units and reservations consistently produce big muleys.
