great time
for years i have gone on bow hunts out of state. costing me thousands of dollars , and come home with nothing. It was great to sit there and see so many deer, and have a tough time choosing witch one to shoot at. I shot the biggest deer of my life and couldn't be any happier ! great staff and all around great experience ! I will be back for more!!

Hog Hunt
This was a fun off season hunt for our group, we all got hogs and one hunter in our group took 2 hogs! Steve worked very hard to get us on hogs and after the kill, our hogs were cleaned and waiting for us by our truck and then loaded! We then took them to a local butcher to have them processed and smoked, the meat was delicious! It was a fun trip with great friends and we are already planning on another trip back to Liberty Hollow!

Outstanding Hunt
I looked into guided hunts, really wasn't sure if it was right for me. So those of you that are searched sites and are in those shoes now...this post is for you. Guide: Wayne and his son are 1st class guides. Spoke with Wayne several times prior to hunting, as well as a tour of the hunting preserve. Like many of you, hunting is more than dropping a big buck, its the memory. I made a memory at Liberty Hollow for my son to remember for his lifetime. Wayne gets that picture. He truly is a hunting experience first over making money. Deer: You will see bucks you would probably never see without hunting at the preserve. Amazing bucks. Wayne wanted to know what kind of bucks get my attention, and showed me pics of bucks on the preserve prior and like checking my trail camera's I had one particular buck in mind. The Hunt: The preserve is yours and only yours. Your hunting success is their 100% focus. They placed me in a stand and briefed me on what activity to expect. And like clock work it went down. Seen a few nice shooters early that morning, held out for that particular buck I was after. Moved to a second location late morning. Buck appeared from my blindside at close range. All I knew at that moment was it was a very nice buck. Aimed and fired. Retrieved to find that it was the actual buck I came for...and it far exceeded what I anticipated!!! Scored 147 with a 20-1/2" inside spread. That afternoon my 11-yr old son (that believed he was there for a doe) had a beautiful buck within crossbow range. He aimed in for "practicing movement purposes" and I told him to take the shot. Of course I was a pretty proud dad. There was also some pretty proud guides too and that really added to our experience. After the Hunt: Wayne took our bucks to the butcher...set me up with a quality taxidermist...and we have stayed in touch ever since. My son and I will return to Liberty Hollow every year, we were and still are treated like friends, not clients. In Addition: Do your research on scoring. Liberty Hollow scores B&C not SCI. There is a huge difference, don't take my word, look it up. Then search for others that score on B&C. Very few score B&C.

Good first hunt
My son and I had a great time at Liberty Hollow on our first hunt ever. I harvested my first whitetail buck, an atypical measured roughly 160 inches, a mature doe, and a Carolina sow. It was an awesome experience for us. The owner and guide are very nice and helpful, especially for novices like us. The preserve is well maintained with a good number of deer and wild hogs to choose from. We will definitely go back for another hunt next year.
Outfitter Response: Happy for the review, but still trying to figure out the 4 stars out of 5. LiLi was thrilled to death. Never hunted before and we helped him from sighting in his gun to delivering his trophy to the taxidermist. Must be a culture difference.

Whitetail Hunt
I took my 2 boys to hunt at liberty hollow on nov 23 we had a awesome time. My 6 year old shot a real nice 9 point my 15 year old shot a nice 7 point and I shot one of the nicest 180 inch whitetails I ever saw(when we got home we measured him he actually scored 209). Wayne Buckley was great with my little guy made him feel like a king all day.I have been to a couple of places with friends and I can honestly say my experience at Liberty Hollow was top notch.Can not say enough about the day.We are going to be returning in a couple of weeks with my dad to hunt a couple of bucks..

A+ all around!
My son harvested a big old doe at Liberty Hollow. Talk about beautiful woods! I am in a wheelchair, so special considerations were requested; Wayne & Dan went above and beyond! Start to finish, we had a great time. Do not hesitate to book at hunt a Liberty Hollow, you won't be disappointed! P.S. There are some truly monster bucks roaming the property.........wow!!

Colorado Hunting Information
Colorado is one of the best western states for trophy mule deer hunting and has the largest population of elk in the west.
Utah Hunting Information
Utah has recently been outstanding for trophy elk, but the best tags take many years to draw. Utah does have conservation tags available for purchase that allow hunters to bypass the drawing. Given the high demand for these premium tags prices can be high. In the past Utah has been a top trophy mule deer state but recently only a handful of units consistently produce B&C caliber deer.
