Retraction of previous review
In October I submitted a review and would like to retract it. After meeting with Rodney face to face we were able to come to a mutual understanding and the issue has been resolved.

In October of 2014 I posted a review of Kansas Big buck Outfitters. After being able to speak with Rodney face to face, we have come to a mutual understanding and this issue has been resolved. Therefore I would like to retract my original review.

I was handling the finances for Bill for this hunt. The money for the tag was sent to Rodney, and after many, many phone calls and texts, Rodney finally responded to Bill that he had the money and everything was good. Then when it came time for the draw, Rodney doesn't have the money. No, I didn't have the receipt anymore because we were told that he had the money. A couple of days later, we get a letter in the mail that says Bill was drawn. When we called Rodney about the letter, he says that is a standard letter his secretary sends out to everyone. Why would you send a letter to everyone even if they were not drawn?? We simply asked for the money back that we had paid on the hunt. According to Rodney, the money we had sent him wasn't going to make or break him.....well to some of us that is a lot of money. There was no way we were going to send more money to him and take the chance on it getting lost too. I understand the "no refund" policy on the deposit. We did not ask for the deposit back. We wanted the other money back that we had paid towards the hunt. I feel like it was carelessness on Rodney's part in the first place. Bill hunts all over the place and was really looking forward to hunting in Kansas, but we are not giving money to someone who is so unorganized.

BEWARE
I MET THEM AT THE NASHVILLE SHOW AND BOOK THE HUNT 2 YR IN ADVANCE WITH A DEP WELL COME TAG TIME HE REQUEST EVERYONE SEND HIM THE MONEY AND HE PUT IN FOR THE TAGS SO I DO SO AND TEXT HIM LATER THAT WEEK AND AFTER THE 4 TEXT HE RESPONSE YES SR I GOT IT THANKS THEN WHEN THE DRAW IS OVER I GO TO THE WEB TO MAKE SURE I HAD DWAWN AND IT SAID NO INFO FOUND I CALLED RODNEY HE SAID LET ME SEE WHAT HAPPEN THEN CALLED ME BACK AND SAID I DIDNT RECIEVE YOUR TAG MONEY WELL YOU KNO WHERE WE WENT AFTER THAT!!!!THN A WEEK LATER I GET A LETTER IN THE MAIL SAYING CONGRATS YOU HAVE DRAWN YOUR TAG NOW THE REST OF THE HUNT MONEY WILL BE DUE SO I CALL HIM AGAIN AND ASKED WHY I GOT THE LETTER HE SAID ITS JUST A LETTER HE SENDS TO ALL HIS CLIENTS??????LATER I FOUND OUT FROM OTHER FOLKS HES DONE THE SAME TO THEM GUYS HES NICE TO TALK TO BUT HES A CROOK IN MY BOOK!!!!! I TRIED TO GET SOME OF MY DEP BACK ALL HE WOULD SAY IS GET A LAWYER !!!NICE
Outfitter Response: My name is Rodney with Big Buck Outfitters in Kansas thank you to Next Hunt for letting me respond to this. I been running this company for 11 years i have done anyone wrong.Bill did book a hunt with me everything Bill is writing is not true when he call me about his tag i looked into it and he did not send his tag money to me. Bill told me he did and i told him to show me a reseat where he paid me for the tag and i told him i will give him the hunt if he show me where he paid me for the tag.Two days later he called me and said he can not find that reseat.Then BILL ask me for the refund for the hunt i told him i do not give refunds back it on my website and my Brochure no refund but i told Bill i will roll his hunt over for next year if that will help him..Bill wrote to you guys at next hunt that i did other hunters that way thats a lie.This is what I am saying why do i wont to take $346.00 dollars from Bill when he still owned me $ 1400 for the hunt .Then after i talk to them i told them that there are leftover tag and i will buy him one of them and come on hunting he turn around and told me he cant not come i tried and tried to work with Bill but the only thing he wont to do is to write thing on these websites about me I am a easy person to work with and i have a lot of clients will till you that I am a straight shooter.

Colorado is one of the best western states for trophy mule deer hunting and has the largest population of elk in the west.
Oregon Hunting Information
Oregon is not known to be a trophy big game producing state. That said they do have good quantities of animals such as Elk.
