Kansas Turkey Hunt

Love hunting in Kansas in general for turkeys, there are a lot of 'em and and they work real good. The Hashknife is a great place, the food and lodging does not get any better. The price is a little higher though, you may be able to find a place with just as many birds for cheaper. But you will not find one with better food and lodging.

Kansas Whitetail Hunt

This is the Crim da la Crim of fair chase Whitetail deer hunting. I have hunted all over the country with Primos and other outdoor guys and I have never seen a place like this. 30 something thousand acres and bowhunting only in southern Kansas is always good. The lodging is great and the food is even better!! But above all that the size of the whitetails is what makes the Hashknife Ranch special. Just last year Chris Ashley killed a buck that scored 217, and one of my good friends from Orlando, FL killed one that scored 224. I have not been lucky enough to break the 200 mark yet but you can bet I will be back there trying every chance I get!!

Alberta Hunting Information

Alberta is a large, diverse province with rolling prairies, farmland, river bottoms, Boreal forests, and large expanses of the northern Rocky Mountains. Many species of big game, waterfowl, upland game and predators inhabit Alberta. Long known for monster whitetails, Alberta also is home to big mule deer, pronghorn antelope, elk, black bear, cougar, Canada moose, and bighorn sheep. In fact, 7 of the 10 largest bighorn sheep in Boone and Crockett record book are from Alberta. In addition to big game, Alberta offers some top notch bird hunting. Serious waterfowlers know about the large flocks of ducks and geese that call Alberta home or migrate through.
