Gobble n grunt outfitters stole my $$!!!

We paid in full upfront almost a year in advance for a guided Merriam's turkey hunt with Chris Colefack (owner of Gobble n Grunt outfitters) for my 13 year old son and my elderly neighbor who started him out turkey hunting. This bird was the last one on his grand-slam list and this hunt was his birthday present. 2 weeks before the hunt Chris cancelled the hunt due to Covid-19 even though we had already purchased our permits. He refused to refund any of our money and also declined to provide a hunt date for the following season. Chris has failed to answer any of the letters sent by our attorney to reconcile his obvious breech of our hunt contract. He has made no attempt to make things right. Now it looks like we will end up in court instead of a turkey blind due to trusting the wrong outfitter. This has been a terrible experience! Run away from this guy if you value your money and time.

White tail Rifle Hunt 2012

Shot my deer in the first 5 minutes of light and the gentlemen I shared a field with shot one 15 minutes later. Saw 3 other bucks the short time I was in the field and lots of turkeys. I think there is potentil for much larger bucks than what we shot and I will be back next year and will be more selective. Food and accomodations were great. My guide Ryan was very knowledgable and put ina lot of work to ensure we saw deer. Great hunt.

Deer HUnt NE 2011

For the 3rd year in a row a fantastic trip to GnG. I took a great 5 year old buck on first morning with very good mass at 30 yards. Then I was going to hold out for a monster. The wait wasn't long as on day 2 I killed a 180 class 6x6. Lots of good deer taken while I was there and I am already rebooked for next year.

Alberta Hunting Information

Alberta is a large, diverse province with rolling prairies, farmland, river bottoms, Boreal forests, and large expanses of the northern Rocky Mountains. Many species of big game, waterfowl, upland game and predators inhabit Alberta. Long known for monster whitetails, Alberta also is home to big mule deer, pronghorn antelope, elk, black bear, cougar, Canada moose, and bighorn sheep. In fact, 7 of the 10 largest bighorn sheep in Boone and Crockett record book are from Alberta. In addition to big game, Alberta offers some top notch bird hunting. Serious waterfowlers know about the large flocks of ducks and geese that call Alberta home or migrate through.

Utah Hunting Information

Utah has recently been outstanding for trophy elk, but the best tags take many years to draw. Utah does have conservation tags available for purchase that allow hunters to bypass the drawing. Given the high demand for these premium tags prices can be high. In the past Utah has been a top trophy mule deer state but recently only a handful of units consistently produce B&C caliber deer.
