November bowhunt
Been planning to bowhunt Iowa during the rut for several years now. It took me 3 points to draw the archery tag. I did plenty of research before booking. I had it narrowed down to two outfitters and ultimately chose Paul. His ratings at NextHunt are top notch and all other feedback I got was the same. I really like the DIY style of hunting on prime properties where hunting pressure is minimal. I always prefer to hang my own stands. His hunt does include lodging but not food. I stayed in a nice cabin with a member of his management co-op. He gave me two nice farms that were exclusively mine to hunt. I got aerial maps and his opinions on deer patterns, places to part and good areas to hunt. In short, with the rut in full swing and a great set up I tagged out on a heavy P&Y 8 point and doe in just 2 days. If I had been more patient I might have been rewarded with a bigger buck. I did see a 150 class buck the first evening. Probably saw about 30 deer in total.

great guy lots of tv host hunt with paul. He gives you a farm to hunt for you and your group. your farm if you draw a gun tag may or may not have been hunted one time with bow hunter. paul knows his deer and the best places to hang your stands. i have hunted three times and have drawn a tag to hunt with him this year. i cant wait lots of 140s running around and have seen at least one booner every year i have hunted. ive tried to hold out but in the end ive taken three deer right at or just over 150. on e with a drop tine. that was hard n ot to pass on but i was hunting his grandad that is about 185 with a drop. dec. i cant wait.

Iowa Muzzloader
This guy lives and breathes Whitetail Deer hunting. In my opinion for the money there is no better place for big Whitetails. The living is not the Ritz but you got a clean bed are plenty good enough for someone who does not mind the old farm house style place. Paul Fountain runs a lot of trail cameras and picks up lots of sheds so you can see what you are after and that is always good for getting you pumped up for the hunt. I have only heard good things about this guy and my hunts have always been good so far. I am 100% success so far...knock on wood!!
